A forward deployed engineer (FDE) is a senior engineer who works embedded in a customer's team to take a product or AI capability from prototype to production. At BeenOne, FDEs own a problem end to end: integration with your systems, evaluation, deployment and handover to your team.

With staff augmentation, BeenOne engineers join your team and you direct the work day to day. With project outsourcing, BeenOne takes responsibility for a defined scope and delivers it. We offer both and help you choose based on how much control you want.

AI QA covers evaluation datasets, regression testing, red-teaming for hallucination, safety and prompt injection, and test automation integrated into your CI pipeline. It applies to chatbots, copilots, agents and any feature built on large language models.

For most roles, a vetted engineer can start within two weeks of your approval. A dedicated team of five or more typically takes four to eight weeks to recruit and onboard.

BeenOne is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (UTC+7). Our engineers overlap fully with APAC hours, with European mornings, and with US West Coast afternoons and evenings.

Forward deployed engineers and augmented staff are billed monthly per engineer. AI QA and application development can be fixed-scope or monthly. There are no recruitment fees for augmented staff.

You do. All code, models and other work product created during an engagement belong to the client under our standard agreement.
